CHICKEN SALAD



SALAD is a name for a food that contains varieties of vegetables, such as Lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber and many more. Salad also   contains fruits alike orange, apple, strawberry and many more.  In Australia, many restaurants serve Salad in their menu as number of Vegetarian people increased year by year. 

For me, I love Salad when it comes with different types of dressing but somehow I found quite difficult to find new Salad dressing in restaurants/supermarket. They always sell same thing like Thousand Island or tartar, again. So I decide to make Salad plus the Salad dressing at home. To cook them only need few minutes for prepare Salad and dressing and it took little bit longer to marinated the chicken.

Portions: 4 people

CHICKEN BREAST:
  • 169g chicken breast 
  • Pinch cayenne powder
  • Pinch capsicum powder
  • Pinch salt
  • Pinch black pepper
  • Pinch thyme powder
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • Pinch nutmeg powder
  • Pinch cumin powder
SALAD
  • 110g Cherry Tomatoes
  • 352g Iceberg salad
  • 49g fresh corn
  • Chicken breast 
  • Italian herbs
  • Australian Parsley
SALAD DRESSING
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon mustard moutarde
  • 1/4 butter milk
  • 1 tablespoon sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon parmesan
  • 1 tablespoon parmesan cheese
GARNISH
  • Parmesan cheese

HOW TO COOK THE CHICKEN
First of all, prepare the chicken breast. If you not fan of chicken breast, change to different part of chicken meat that maybe you like most. But chicken breast is perfect to mix with salad. 

169g chicken breast is portions for 3-4 people. If you have more people, than add more ingredients. Mix all seasoning chicken ingredients than marinated them around 10 minutes. 


HOW TO COOK THE CHICKEN BREAST
After 25 minutes, chicken breast ready to cook on the hot pan. Heat a pan to medium heat, add vegetable oil and butter plus rosemary than cook them for about 7 minutes. 

You see, the seasoning mix together and created beautiful colour.

 

NEXT STEP
Making salad dressing is so easy. You just need to add all together in medium bowel and stir it evenly.

  

INSTRUCTIONS
  • First, marinated the chicken with ingredients that I mentioned above. 
  • Prepare all equipments such as pan, food scale, small bowls, etc. Following with prepared all foods ingredients 
  • After all ready. I'm going to cops all vegetables for salad and leave it.
  • Next step, you need to cook the chicken to a pan for 7 minutes. Heat the stove and wait until it gets warm than pour vegetable oil and wait until 1 minutes than add the chicken.
  • After 7 minutes, remove from pan and next make the Salad dressing. 
  • Pouring together seasoning ingredients very important to boost flavour and don't forget to taste them.
  • After chicken breast finish cooked, mix them together with vegetable and pour salad dressing.
TIPS

  • If you still have salad left. Put on the fridge and it can stay until 2 days in the fridge.
